Meet Margherita

Come visit a third-generation, family-owned vineyard located in midst of historical Pompeii, just steps from the city's ruins. Margherita’s family has been in the hospitality business for decades, first starting with a hotel started by her grandfather over 30 years ago. Realizing a long-held dream of her grandfather, the family opened their family winery two years ago. Margherita grew up in the family hotel in the center of Pompeii and together with her brothers and sisters (five of them in total) they continue to run the winery and hotel. Everyone who is working at the winery is a cousin, relative or close friend of the family. Join Margherita, or if she is unavailable one of her colleagues, for a tour of their vineyards and winery followed by a lunch and wine tasting in their beautiful winery café, all located just a 10-minute walk from the historic Pompeii ruins.
