This was by far one of our favorite activities while spending a quick 5 days in Paris over New Years with two of our adult children. Francoise was a superb host and welcomed us into her beautiful home on New Years Day. (A perfect way to spend a few hours after a late evening the night before.) The kitchen was cozy, the food fabulous and Francoise was charming. She’s worked in the industry as both a chef and consultant for a while and shared many secrets and tips as she prepared our meal(who knew a spoon was really better than a whisk while preparing sauces)! We did help with a few things, but honestly just sitting and visiting with her in her cozy kitchen was perfect for our family of four after a late night. She had everything so well organized, that the conversation flowed without it distracting her. She tasked us with a few chores, and I’m sure had we wanted to do more, Francoise would have accommodated us. Her ease, knowledge and flexibility made us feel very welcome. The menu was tailored to our requests prior to our arrival and left us with very full stomachs upon leaving. Wonderful attention to detail....little edible treats before, during and after the main meal and champagne and wine!I would not hesitate to give my highest recommendation for this experience. Meeting and learning from a true Parisian cannot be beat. Book with Francoise now!
Clients review - We also loved the Macaroon class. Lovely work space, he was very friendly, the only thing I will say about that was it was just shy of one hour and for the cost seemed a little short.
My daughter and I agree, this is the best cooking class we have ever taken. All in perfect English or French....possibly other languages, Aurore is a Parisian--born and lives in Fontainebleau. Her cooking skills, personality, knowledge of not only how to cook--but how to serve a dish in the most elegant, yet modern way--is so wonderful!Do yourself a big favor and take her class!!!I know you will walk away as happy as we are!
Francoise was amazing! We've taken several cooking and food classes in Paris and Francoise's was the most memorable. She was warm and inviting, giving us great cooking tips, as well as, recommendations for places to shop and eat. We brought our 8 month old daughter, who was fussy at times. Francoise held our daughter and even fed her, so we could enjoy our meal. This kind of treatment is over and above what we expected. Francoise also choose high quality, organic cheeses for her spread, which we greatly appreciated. We would love to visit Francoise again. The experience was unforgettable.
Lovely day in the French Countryside! Our day spent with Caroline in the French Countryside was definitely a highlight of our trip to Paris! She was very easy to communicate with and made a point to ask about our food preferences so she could build a menu around our tastes. We assisted with some dishes, observed others, and she had a few special ones prepared ahead of time. We enjoyed champagne and various wines with our lunch. The village was beautiful and charming and Caroline’s home and grounds are very special! We took a walk to see the beautiful medieval church in her village and after lunch she drove us to the Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte where we toured the castle and grounds. Since we had no time constraints on our personal schedule we were gone the entire day. Melun is approx a 30 min train ride from Paris. Thank you, Caroline, for your hospitality and for creating a memorable day for our family!
Experiencing a home cooking session with Ximena was a true blessing. Her Mexican heritage shines through in her storytelling and passion, which she infuses into the way she welcomes you and explains each ingredient she uses. A highlight for me was her guiding me through making tortillas, a skill that truly came to life during the class. Finally, I would like to thank her for welcoming me into her home and allowing me to learn about her journey from Mexico to France. For anyone making their way through her Chamant, close to Chantilly, I highly recommend giving Ximena's cooking class a try. Discover the unique twist of Mexican cuisine in France—it's an opportunity not to be missed!
In Françoise's gorgeous Parisian duplex you will learn to make France's most iconic and delicious desserts - lemon madeleines, financiers, raspberry tartelettes and chocolate charlottes! You might already be a fan of them but they'll taste even better once you've lovingly made them yourself. As you learn from Françoise and bake together, you can enjoy a glass of champagne or a hot drink - there's nothing like baking in style! After the class, you'll take a seat at her table, set with vintage cups, fine linen and silvery cutlery, for a luxury afternoon tea. Sipping on the drink of your choice, dig into the homemade treats you helped prepare and additional cakes prepared by Francoise.

During this 2.5 hour French pastry class learn to bake French desserts and learn about Parisian culture and salons. A very chic way to spend your afternoon in Paris - sipping on tea and learning to bake French pastries.

Françoise can also teach French macarons - however, if you choose the macarons option, this would be the only pastry you learn during this class because of how long it takes. Ioana lives in Montreuil, a Paris suburb easily accessible by metro. Her food is inspired by her Romanian origins, Balkan roots and love for French cuisine. Ioana's beautiful, cozy apartment is a short train ride away from the city center, with beautiful views of the city. For your meal you can choose from a Romanian or French menu or even a fusion one - which combines her family recipes with a French touch. A few dishes that you might try at Ioana's dining table are zacusca (a vegetable spread) served with bread or caramelized onion and bread soup or croque monsieur and roasted beef in a bell pepper sauce with carrots and cucumber salad or boeuf bourguignon (French beef stew braised in red wine) or borek (savory pastry filled with feta and spinach). End your meal with a French dessert such as flan or moelleux au chocolat with cream and roasted spices, or a Romanian dessert such as papanasi (a cheese beignet with sour cream and blueberry jam, which is homemade).
