Fabio and his girlfriend Annarella are passionate farmers who decided to take care of their families' lands 15 years ago. Meeting new people and cooking Sicilian cuisine brings them great joy! They are eager to share their love of Sicilian Mediterranean culture and its culinary traditions and to learn about people from around the world. They pride themselves on using traditional and organic methods to produce everything from extra virgin olive oil, almonds, citrus, breads, and jams from the fruits that they grow on their bio farm. He serves dishes sourced from local ingredients and the meal is served as a "degustazione": a series of small dishes that include antipasti, seasonal vegetables, pasta, and fruits. Slightly different from what people might consider a traditional Italian meal, Sicilian cuisine is influenced by different cultures (French, Middle Eastern, Greek and Spanish, to name a few). Fabio and Annarella are farmers and food lovers who know how to grow and use the ingredients they have. They are excited to share their culture through food and to give you an appreciation of the true cuisine of their region.
"Fabio and Danarella were amazing. We did a corporate group of seven and loved every minute. All of us felt like we were whisked away to Sicily over zoom - I got comments that it was the best team event people had ever done. We’ll definitely do this again!!!"
"Fabio and Annarella are extremely polite and reliable, a lovely couple. Recipes have been described and shown as accurately as possible. I personally recommend cooking lessons with them"
"Fabio and Anarella were so warm, kind and hospitable and even gave my son a virtual tour of their farm. He is 13 and took the class on his own with them and they were so conversational and engaging."
"My boss wanted to put together a virtual team building experience for his leadership team. They decided to meet over four different time zones and make pasta together. From the beginning Fabio and Annarella were a fun duo and everyone felt like they were being whisked away to Sicily to hang in their kitchen. We will definitely be signing up for another class this August for another team building event! "
"Such personality and love of food. We felt like we had a day in Noto Italy where the host shared his cooking expertise and with his farm."
"Fabio and Annarella were really lovely hosts and the class was so much fun! They showed me the beautiful surroundings of their house and told me a lot of things about cooking, food and their lives during the class. Very enjoyable and the time flied! And in the end, I could make ravioli which I liked very much! Thank you so much for this nice experience!"
