Angelina is a fourth-generation Greek cook with a professional background in preserving and sharing her country’s rich culinary heritage. Angelina’s love for cooking began in her teenage years, inspired by watching her great-grandmothers and mother work their magic in their Greek kitchen. For the past eight years, she has been offering highly acclaimed cooking classes through Traveling Spoon, earning rave reviews from travelers worldwide. Angelina’s storytelling skills bring the history and secrets of Greek gastronomy and wines to life, creating unforgettable experiences for her guests. <br><br> Today, Angelina is an active bilingual food blogger, a proud member of Slow Food International, and a member of the Mykonos Gastronomic Club. She specializes in reviving forgotten Greek and Myconian recipes, using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create memorable culinary experiences for her guests. In-home meal (1 - 10 guests) All three meals of the day can be adjusted to your food preferences and dietary restrictions. Please inform us prior to your arrival about this and we will be happy to design together the ideal menu for all the members of your party.

Cooking experience (1 - 10 guests) The Culinary Experience: Immerse yourself in the art of Greek cooking while enjoying a luxurious stay on the stunning island of Mykonos. Spend 3 or 7 nights in a dream villa overlooking the Aegean Sea, where a top Greek cook and food writer will guide you through hands-on cooking lessons. Learn to create traditional and modern dishes, from vegetarian delights to fresh fish and succulent meats, using simple, healthy ingredients. Dishes you'll learn to cook include the perfect moussaka, whole baked fish, succulent lamb chops, crispy spanakopita, Sifnos revithada, baklava, and a variety of dips, pies, and seasonal salads. Perfect for all skill levels, this culinary retreat combines relaxation, exceptional flavors, and the joy of hosting Greek-style gatherings. Unwind, cook, and savor the best of Greece in an unforgettable setting. During this culinary experience that includes a 3 or 7-night stay, you’ll optionally visit a traditional dairy producer to learn the art of making cheese at home and preparing Mykonos' signature onion pie. Angelina can also organize, upon request, an incredible day trip aboard a traditional wooden boat to the ancient island of Delos. Along the way, you’ll stop for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, followed by a delightful meal served onboard as you sail into the iconic Greek sunset, sipping wine and soaking in the magic of the Aegean Sea. The Villa: Located 20 minutes from Mykonos town and just three minutes drive from the island's most beautiful beach, Lia, the villa accommodates up to 10 guests in five spacious bedrooms. With stunning indoor and outdoor dining areas, a Mediterranean garden, a pool, and panoramic views of Paros and Naxos, it’s the ultimate retreat. Daily cleaning, brunch preparation, and a selection of fine Greek wines make your stay as indulgent as it is inspiring.

7 nights (8 days) Itinerary:

Day 1 (Arrival): Settle into the villa and enjoy a welcome drink with snacks. End the day with a “Greek Taverna Style” dinner prepared by the chef, with optional participation in cooking.
Day 2: Relax by the pool or visit Lia Beach. In the evening, join a cooking class to master Greek classics like Moussaka, Pastitsio, or Gemista, followed by dinner.
Day 3: Start with a Greek breakfast cooking class. Visit Mykonos town (Hora) to explore markets, a historic bakery, and optional museums. Return for an evening seafood cooking class and dinner.
Day 4: Visit a Mykonian cheese producer to learn about local cheeses and make traditional onion pie, followed by lunch. Optional beach outing or dinner at a local taverna.
Day 5: Sail to Delos or along Mykonos' southern beaches (weather permitting). Enjoy an ouzo-themed lunch onboard. Dinner at the villa.
Day 6: Begin with a cooking class on breads, pastries, and filo pies. Spend the afternoon at the beach or exploring, then enjoy a Greek wine and cheese tasting with meze.
Day 7: Relax on a free day. Conclude the experience with a Greek BBQ dinner at the villa.
Day 8 (Departure): Check out by 11 a.m. after a farewell breakfast. Guests receive recipe booklets and herb sachet gifts.

Notes: 1. Private transport included for airport transfers ; additional private transport available upon request. Price includes all three meals per day and snacks, and daily cleaning. Alcohol is limited to 1-2 drinks per meal. <br> 2. This experience has a 3-months cancellation policy. <br> 3. This is just a sample menu to give you an idea of the types of dishes the host cooks. Your menu will vary according to seasonal availability.

  • Shrimps Saganaki (in fresh tomato sauce with feta chunks and grilled bread
  • Mousaka (perhaps the most famous greek dish slow cooked to perfection with a succulent meat sauce and aubergines).
  • Gemista (tomatoes and bell peppers stuffed with rice, raisins and pine nuts and slow-cooked in fresh tomato sauce in the oven).
