Join Cinzia for an unforgettable Florence cooking class in her cozy home, where you’ll cook traditional Tuscan dishes using cherished family recipes. Weather permitting, your experience begins on her patio, where you’ll pick fresh herbs like basil, rosemary, or sage from her garden. Then enjoy a seasonal appetizer prepared by Cinzia, perhaps coccoli fritti (crispy fried dough served with stracchino or pecorino cheese) in spring or tomato-topped bruschette in the summer.
Next, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on Florence pasta class where you’ll learn to make authentic regional dishes from scratch. This three-hour Tuscan cooking class and meal can be tailored to your interests. Throughout the class, Cinzia shares cooking techniques, tips, and stories from her culinary heritage. Finally, you’ll sit down to enjoy the delicious Tuscan meal you created together, soaking in the warmth of her Florentine hospitality.
Pasta Menu: Make three handmade pastas, such as a cut pasta (like pappardelle or tagliatelle), a stuffed pasta (like ravioli or tortellini), and gnocchi - each paired with a different sauce you’ll also learn to prepare.
Pasta and Main Course Menu: Prepare one pasta dish and a meat-based main like pollo alla cacciatora (chicken cacciatore), filetto in crosta di carne (herb-stuffed pork loaf), or zucchine ripiene (meat-stuffed zucchini).
Historical Menu: Explore Cinzia’s love of Renaissance recipes by learning to make a historical appetizer and dessert.
Cinzia will welcome you with a glass of prosecco and a Tuscan appetizer. You will then enjoy an authentic seasonal Tuscan meal at the dining table or on the patio. Your meal may include dishes such as brushette or coccoli fritti with salvio fritti or stracchino cheese for an appetizer, a pasta (flat, stuffed or gnocchi) and a main of pollo alla cacciatore or zucchini ripiene (zucchini stuffed with meat) accompanied by wine. Your meal will conclude with a seasonal dessert like tiramisu, panna cotta or cantucci con vin santo. Please note that prosecco and wine are included in the cost of your meal.

"Cinzia was a wonderful host! We thoroughly enjoyed our private cooking class and felt so
welcomed in her home. The food was delicious, and we loved learning about Tuscan cuisine
and life in Florence. A true highlight of our trip - highly recommend!"
"Cinzia was a wonderful host! She took us around to the markets to get the ingredients for our meal that we would be preparing and gave us great shopping and restaurant tips as well as sharing interesting information of areas we passed along the way. She took us to her beautiful house outside of the city and we prepared our meal and dined on her beautiful patio. She taught us how to make the most amazing pasta, and Panna cotta dessert. We also made a chicken dish for our main entrée. We had some spectacular meats and cheeses from the local markets and the prosecco and wine was amazing! The food was simply delicious and we really enjoyed learning some new cooking skills. Cinzia made us feel right at home, we were very relaxed and it was just a wonderful experience. We highly recommend doing a cooking class with Cinzia if you’re in Florence!"
