These are simple, family recipes that she hopes you can easily recreate. Join Somya and her mother in law, Chitra in their home kitchen to learn to make two seasonal vegetables and chapati (flatbread).
Soumya and Abhishek live in an apartment which is centrally located with great views of the city. Their apartment is simple and modest. They also have an outdoor terrace where they prefer to host their guests when the weather is good. Enjoy the beautiful view of Jaipur city while you sit down to eat a traditional, vegetarian meal together. Your menu might include dishes such as aloo pyaaz ki sabzi (onion potato curry), dal fry (lentils), bhindi masala (okra) served with chapati or paratha (flatbread) and rice. You will end your meal with an Indian dessert such as pista kheer (pistachio rice pudding).
