Like many Indian women before her, she learned to cook at an early age from the older women in her family. Dolly uses a lot of herbs in her cooking, and she enjoys sharing with travelers some of their uses and medicinal properties. In addition to Dolly's passion for cooking she enjoys traveling, music and meeting new people.

A Traveling Spoon ambassador visited this host. Here is their personal review.
The moment Dolly opened the door and greeted me with a warm smile, I knew I was home. Her family is equally endearing and welcoming. The best part about this visit was how well Dolly's entire family made me feel at home. The lunch was a sumptuous spread of non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian dishes. and the kulfi (Indian ice cream) with mangoes became the perfect icing on the cake after the heavy meal.
