Meet Susimar

Susimar is a chemist by profession with 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2011, she started working with native medicinal plants that grow in Puerto Rico. These plants have wonderful medicinal benefits and Susimar wishes to share this knowledge with locals and travelers. She learned to cook from her mother and uses these native herbs to cook her family recipes. Susimar is excited to teach you how she farms and cooks with medicinal herbs, that she grows. This is perfect for anyone looking for an off the beaten path experience in Moca - connect with nature in an intimate place, learn about the local flora, it's qualities, benefits and how to use it to cook a Puerto Rican meal.
