Fatima lives in a beautiful home, close to the historic center of Evora, that has a vegetable garden and outdoor terrace. She enjoys cooking Alentejo cuisine, from the region of Evora where she was born, also food from Algarve where she lived and worked for 29 years. Fatima also bakes bread, makes traditional pastries and chocolate. She has always enjoyed being a host and looks forward to cooking, sharing stories and meeting new people from around the world. Your menu will include dishes from Fatima’s mom’s kitchen, the food she grew up eating and will be prepared using traditional family recipes. More about Fatima

Fatima worked as a manger in the hotel industry for over 30 years. Later she opened her own restaurant. She has always been passionate about cuisine and culture and learned to cook the family recipes from a young age, which has been passed down from generation to generation. Later Fatima also did a professional cooking course to learn new skills and techniques, but always goes back to remembering how her mother did it! She is excited to introduce travelers to Portuguese cuisine, dessert and wine.
