Join Fusina, your fun and knowledgeable local host, for a flavorful journey through Amsterdam that ends with a hands-on Dutch pancake session in her canal house apartment overlooking the Amstel river. Explore the Albert Cuyp open air Market and enjoy tastings at 4-5 stops featuring Dutch favorites like fresh stroopwafels, Dutch herring sashimi with pickles, and artisanal cheeses as you learn about local culture. During your 1.5–2-hour food tour, choose Fusina's favorite apples at the market, buy smoked bacon at the local butcher and head to Fusina’s home to make, bake and flip sweet and savory Dutch pancakes - an interactive and delicious finale to your experience.
After the food and market tour, head to Fusina’s charming home for your Dutch pancake-making session. Learn to prepare both sweet and savory styles - traditionally with apples, and with bacon from southern Dutch pigs, cured and smoked by a local butcher. You’ll cook and enjoy the Dutch pancakes (pannenkoeken) in her cozy kitchen, sipping a glass of Dutch white wine served in vintage crystal glasses passed down from her grandmother. A special toast with Fusina marks the end of this joyful and authentic Amsterdam food experience.

"Our host, Fusina, was warm and generous with her time and her knowledge of food and The Netherlands! It was a sunny, warm day and we strolled through town and the market and Fusina told us about Amsterdam’s food, history and culture. The food was delicious and I even enjoyed pickled herring! We had a very nice time."
"Fusina is a fantastic guide, really friendly and welcoming. I particularly loved the fish, but all of the food was delicious!"
"Loved the experience with Fussina going to the market and then to her home for a lovely luncheon. I will highly recommend the tour."
"Fusina has warm relationships with all of the places where she brought us — delicious selections with great attention to locally produced foods and deep connections to producers (e.g. the fish was caught on a boat that morning!). A pleasure. Highly recommended. 🙂"
