Host offerings
Bridget is a cookbook author, independent food consultant and trainer in Anglo-Indian cuisine. She has authored award-winning recipe books about Anglo-Indian cuisine, which is her area of expertise. She has researched and revived the old forgotten dishes of the British Raj era. Apart from writing cooking books she also conducts workshops to train chefs, organizes food festivals and culinary events, helps restaurants revamp and reinvent their menus and offers cooking classes to travelers and locals.

In-home meal (2 - 8 guests) Join Bridget in her home in Koramangala where she is excited to share with you a simple vegetarian Indian meal, homestyle dishes that locals eat at home. A few dishes that you will share together are dal (lentil curry) or rasam (lentil soup), seasonal vegetables like beans or eggplant or cauliflower or carrot or cabbage, rice and vegetable cutlets or banana fritters - a simple homely lunch that includes everyday vegetarian dishes.
Cooking experience (2 - 8 guests) Join Bridget for an interactive and hands-on Indian vegetarian cooking class in Bangalore. Begin by chopping and prepping vegetables and other ingredients before you start cooking on the stove. Learn to cook 2-3 simple vegetarian dishes using Bridget’s family recipes. In 1.5 hours learn to make a lentil curry and a vegetable stir fry. After your vegetarian cooking class sit down at the dinning table to share the meal you helped prepare.
Market visit (2 - 8 guests) Please note this isn't a market tour but a visit to a local grocery store, where Bridget usually buys her produce from. Meet Bridget at her home and then walk together to the local grocery store, that sells fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruits. You will also find all the spices and condiments needed in Indian cooking at this store. Bridget will introduce you to all the local procure and ingredients used to prepare an Indian meal and teach you how select fresh produce. You might shop for lentils, spices or vegetables before returning home for your cooking and meal experience.
