"This was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Tokyo who would like to learn something new, have a great time doing so, and meet some wonderful people! :)
Risa is an amazing host and just as good a teacher. I attended her cooking class with a friend, and we both felt very welcome the entire time. She took care of us from the moment we arrived at the train station until we left. We talked about food, our countries, anime, and video games — it felt almost like visiting a friend and catching up on life over a shared meal. We ate delicious miso soup and okonomiyaki, and also got to try some excellent green tea.
Thank you for your hospitality, and I really hope we’ll meet again in the near future!"
"We (my girlfriend and I) had an incredible experience cooking with Risa! From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us warmly into her home with a big smile and homemade Japanese snack and green tea so we could rest for a bit
Before the class we asked to make one substitution for what we would cook, and Risa was very accommodating.
Risa put in a lot of effort and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and engaged.
This was more than just a cooking class, it was a genuine cultural exchange, and we left feeling inspired (and full!). Highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to dive deeper into authentic Japanese cooking."
"For anyone looking for an authentic local dining experience in Tokyo, I would highly recommend booking a dinner experience with Risa. You would think being invited into someone’s home for dinner would be a daunting experience, Risa made us feel at home, like we were long-time friends. The food was amazing, the chats were even better and I can honestly say as we wrap up our trip around Japan that this experience was the most memorable. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Risa!"
