A former telecom manager with a degree in engineering, Michele's true passion is wine! He left his job to become a sommelier and moved to the Canary Islands for a while to dedicate himself to what he loves. He studied and qualified for the highest certification at one of the prominent wine education academies and now works at a winery in Italy as a tourism consultant and tasting guide, offering wine and gastronomy tours for tourists and locals alike. Michele loves investigating the wine soul, trying to understand everything that led to the creation of it. He is excited to teach guests an objective way to assess the quality of a wine, without forgetting that the most important part of appreciating wine is understanding your own personal tastes.

Food tour (1 - 10 guests) Meet Michele at the Tenuta la Riva winery for your fun wine adventure in Bologna! During this wine tour, discover how wine is made, white, red and sparkling wine. Learn about where the colors and bubbles come from and how to judge the quality of wine by understanding its body and how it relates to the regions that each wine originates from. Learn from a passionate wine guide and sommelier about the history, production, cultural significance and most importantly, the appreciation of wine. During your wine experience, you will have the chance to taste three wines produced in the region.
