Warm-hearted and generous, Margarida runs a restaurant in Goa that was started by her celebrity chef husband. Margarida is passionate about sharing traditional Goan cuisine and long-forgotten recipes such as Bolo San Rival, an exquisite and aromatic layered cashew meringue cake.

In-home meal (1 - 6 guests) Margarida, who serves authentic Portuguese Goan cuisine, starts your visit to her home with a welcome drink then plys you with dishes that may include prawn guisado (a hearty Portuguese goan seafood stew), sorpotel (an incredibly rich dish of liver fried with pig blood) served with sannas (a pillowy steamed rice bread), the addictive chicken xacuti, traditional pork vindaloo, fish raceido mole, pickled fish with a red chili, jaggery, and vinegar marinade. The finale to every meal is her famous bolo san rival, the classic layered cashew meringue cake.
