Host offerings
Flor and Marice are sisters who have a deep passion for cooking as well as hosting people from other countries. Following their mother’s and grandmother’s tradition, their first culinary encounter was with Italian cuisine. Later on, they started incorporating dishes and flavors from Argentina, and became expert cooks in local cuisine. Flor lived in Miami, Florida for eight years, where she had a small restaurant that specialized in both Argentinian and Italian cuisine. Flor and Marice have worked with travelers for a long time. When Flor came back to Buenos Aires, she opened her home to travelers from the United States and elsewhere.

In-home meal (1 - 6 guests) Meet Marice at her apartment in one of Buenos Aires’ most beautiful residential neighborhoods, Belgrano R, famous for being the location of a large number of national embassies. Flor lives on the main avenue while Marice lives in a cozy apartment 10 blocks away.
Hosting takes place either at Flor’s or Marice’s, depending on the guest’s meal preference between barbecue (asado) or home-style cuisine. If the day is nice, guests can enjoy a traditional barbecue or “asado” at Marice’s. She built a little barbecue on her patio garden and is an excellent "asadora". If it’s a cold winter day, you might want to choose a more gourmet, home-style option: a homemade pumpkin soup as an entrée, followed by beef carbonada, a delicious stew, and a flan with dulce de leche as dessert. If you choose this home-style option, you will meet at Marice's and walk together a few blocks to her sister Flor's place.
Food will be paired with a local Argentinian Malbec wine for either meal option.
Notes: Hosts will meet at Marice's home. If the experience takes place at Flor's apartment, you will walk a few blocks with Marice to her sister's place, and enjoy the views at Belgrano R, an elegant residential neighborhood.
